Singapore

Although a small island city-state, Singapore combines a multitude of languages, cultures and religions to provide the perfect gateway into South East Asia for many travellers.

The old English trading port has become a must stop for any traveller, with even the airport (often ranked as the best in the world) providing enough content opportunities to fill a few Instagram posts.

Since the inner city is particularly walkable, the best way to explore is definitely by foot. Key sights include the Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay or, if you’re looking for something a little fancier, a colonial infusion at the famous Raffles Hotel.

Lee particularly liked the Little India and Chinatown districts, to provide an insight into the melting pot that is Singapore.
